Rescue Me ID: 16-03-28-00622Kodiak (male)

Belgian Malinois Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Not Good w/ Other Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: High Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Kodiak is an amazing dog. Extremely loyal and well behaved. Loves to play fetch, catch frisbees and go for long walks. We have had him since he was 8 weeks old so we have seen him grow from 8lbs to 100lbs. He knows all the basics skills of leave it, sit, down, stay plus more. He is such a great dog but unfortunately he does no get along with our older dog. It breaks our heart but we want him to have the best life and environment so he can to live a happy life. He needs room to run in a fenced yard and someone with an active lifestyle of walking or running. He is update to date on all vaccines (I am a Vet Assistant) and stays current on ... (Read More)heartworm and flea meds. He needs to be the only dog in the house. He will be much happier as an only 'child'. He is very loyal to his family and will love you with all his heart. We put not good with children because he has not been around many kids. He sees our neighbors kids through the fence but they are usually crying or screaming so he is still confused by them. We think he would be good but would need proper introductions. He is being adopted out through the American Belgian Malinois Rescue. Please go to this site and fill out the application if you are interested in him. http://www.malinoisrescue.org/d5-a_2-r7uc/app-form-jm.shtml (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 16-02-19-00204Romeo (male)

Belgian Malinois Mix    Age: Adult

Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Romeo is a sweet and affectionate, 6 year old Belgian Malinois mix. He has the Malinois personality - very smart and mischievous - and Malinois drive. He is not 'over the top' like most Malinois but he does need someone that is familiar with the breed who can give him the structure a Malinois needs while keeping his mind and body active. A fenced yard to play in is a must. Frisbee is his FAVORITE game! He usually brings it back but sometimes he likes to be chased around the back yard; he is still quite puppyish. He is a wonderful walking and hiking companion, especially if you are by the water, he will just jump in and splash around. Romeo ... (Read More)would be best as an only dog because he has so much love to give; he is definitely a Velcro dog. He needs a home without cats or small dogs because of his strong prey drive. He also is best suited for homes with older children (12 years old or older) because of his size and playfulness. Romeo is fully vaccinated, neutered, micro-chipped and even had a recent dental! To adopt Romeo please contact ddpandis@gmail.com Romeo is being fostered in Charlotte NC (Less)
