Belgian Malinois Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Hi, My name is Roman. I am about a 10 month old. I am a very sweet boy. I am up to date on my vaccinations, I have been dewormed and microchipped. I am heart worm negative an i am on monthly heart worm, flea, tic, and intestinal worm preventatives. I am very loving and really enjoy attention. I love to play and be with my humans all the time. I enjoy riding in the car and going on outings. I am very clever. I will give anyone a kiss and allow petting, belly rubs, and pretty much anything as long as you are giving me attention. I am house trained and I don't mind a crate but I would really prefer to be with my family. I am being ... (Read More)considered for the working dog program. I have an amazing personality, temperament, and really wonderful disposition. These are things that cannot be purchased or trained, it just comes natural. The rescue will be working on my training and it will continue when I am placed with my new family. (I will have a minimum of 120 hours of training to be considered a working dog) and my specialized training will be completed with For the Love of Dogs Rescue mentoring and training with my new family and handler. Do you have room in your heart and home for a beautiful boy like myself? Do you have a little patience to see me reach my full potential? I am very young and still very much puppy. I will play and keep you company all day long and be perfectly happy to keep your spot in the bed warm should you allow me to share the be with you. If you are interested in adoption, please contact Charlene with For the Love of Dogs Rescue and ask for an Adoption Application. Once your references are checked, a home visit will be scheduled and then a meet and greet can be scheduled. If all goes well then you would be able to sign the contract, pay my adoption fee and take me home that day. The rescue would schedule with you regular training sessions to keep my training ongoing to help increase my skill sets and refine my tasks. please call charlene at 704-464-9999 or email to get an adoption application. If you give me a chance to show you how loving and loyal I can be, you will not be disappointed. Are you the family I have been waiting for? (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 16-09-11-00262Kira (female)

Belgian Malinois Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Average Energy, Very Submissive
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current, Fearful/Anxious

Kira is a 3 year old German Shepherd that needs a new home. She is current on all vaccinations and is spayed. She is quite petite at one 55#. The only reason why she needs is a home is due to the inner dog-aggression. She is shy and will take time to get to know you. She is not a lap dog but when she trust you she will come out and want you to love on her. She is crate trained and should be crated when not supervised because true to her GDS nature she is curious and will get into things. She loves to play with other dogs and so she will be a good doggy partner. She does prefer her doggie counterpart to humans as she was not properly ... (Read More)socialized as a puppy. Kira understands pack behavior and therefore I will ask that you either have another dog or be willing to work with her extensively. She is timid around people and new surroundings so a fenced in yard at least 6'' or leashed walks are a must. She is special needs. She requires pancreatic enzyme powder over her food twice a day to keep weight on her. This can be expensive (depending on where you purchase it) but she has to have this. This is a lifelong medical condition that can be easily treated. When loved properly she is a sweet, loyal companion and true to her German Shepherd nature. If you would like to meet her please just let me know! (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 16-02-19-00204Romeo (male)

Belgian Malinois Mix    Age: Adult

Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Romeo is a sweet and affectionate, 6 year old Belgian Malinois mix. He has the Malinois personality - very smart and mischievous - and Malinois drive. He is not 'over the top' like most Malinois but he does need someone that is familiar with the breed who can give him the structure a Malinois needs while keeping his mind and body active. A fenced yard to play in is a must. Frisbee is his FAVORITE game! He usually brings it back but sometimes he likes to be chased around the back yard; he is still quite puppyish. He is a wonderful walking and hiking companion, especially if you are by the water, he will just jump in and splash around. Romeo ... (Read More)would be best as an only dog because he has so much love to give; he is definitely a Velcro dog. He needs a home without cats or small dogs because of his strong prey drive. He also is best suited for homes with older children (12 years old or older) because of his size and playfulness. Romeo is fully vaccinated, neutered, micro-chipped and even had a recent dental! To adopt Romeo please contact Romeo is being fostered in Charlotte NC (Less)
