Lady is around 3 years old, house and kennel trained. Known commands are: sit, down, stay, shake, and go to kennel. She only wants to please, was saved from shelter before she was about to be put down by a young couple who can no longer care for her, looking for a forever home. Chipped, spayed, 45 to 50 lbs.

|Animal ID: 17-04-22-00120Dakota (female)|
Dakota is VERY sweet, and we joke that she 'melts like butter' anytime you pet her. She craves attention and affection. Dakota is a hiighly intelligent dog, and picks up on things very easily. Dakota is house trained, and potty trained. She is NOT crate Trained, however we have always left her out in the house while we are gone and she has never had an issue or accident. Dakota LOVES to run, and likes to rage along on walks and jogs. She is a good outdoor companion. Dakota is learning basic commands such as sit, down, shake, and off. We have been working with her on the leash as well. She loves to play fetch with her ball, and we are teaching her how to 'drop it' when she brings it back. Dakota is about 65 lbs. She is up to date on all shots and vetting, as well as spayed. Ideally, she would do well in a home with older kids (7+), and potentially as an only dog. Although we have been working with her, she would benefit from consistent obedience training and enforcement. This sweet girl would be fantastic addition to any home. She is such a lover. Dakota comes with her dog bed, Weiss Walkie leash, and collar. (Less)

This beautiful lab mix Goldie is a sweetie!!! She wondered up to a middle school where one of our volunteers worked- no chip, no collar. We've searched for the owners but no one has claimed her. She LOVES kids of all ages, is already house broken and crate trained, knows commands, she's good on a leash, appears to like other dogs and loves belly rubs. She is looking for an adopter or foster!!

Would be great to work as a K-9 service dog for law enforcement, Search and Rescue, or any other service dog tasks with training. And would make a great family pet. Friendly personality, loves belly rubs, great with kids, adults, cats, and dogs. Crate trained, house trained and loves being outside too. Very smart and fast learner.

Zoe is a 18-24 month old Belgian Malinois female who weighs around 55 pounds and is currently being fostered with a family with another dogs. Zoe is a very smart girl and is great with other dogs and loves to play. We don't know for sure about cats. She is crate-trained and does pretty well with house training. We prefer an adopter with experience with Belgian Malinois or who is willing to learn about this breed and get a trainer involved at the time of adoption. Please contact us at email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org or 713-385-2317 for an adoption application, which is required before meeting dogs. Our adoption fee for Zoe is $350. |Rescue Me ID: 17-01-12-00266Rex (male)|
Rex was nearly bald due to Sarcoptic Mange and fleas when he was found. He has healed an now has a beautiful shiny soft coat. About a month ago he was beaten by a neighbor with a broom stick as they had him in a fence. When he was taking to the vet they said he had back leg trauma and a swollen eye but he is now doing great and being as playful as before. Rex is crate trained and has a sleeping schedule. He loves to play with all types of animals and is great with people. He does not have any vaccines yet but I will be willing to pay for them once adopted. I am not really sure what he is mix with since he is a stray but the mom seems to be about 30lbs and a medium size dog so I don't think he will get any bigger than 30lbs. Please contact me at email@example.com if interested (Less)

|Rescue Me ID: 14-06-08-00550Macho (male)|
Macho is about 2 years old Belgian Malinios mix. He had been adopted but his owner had a sudden health issue and was unable to care for him. We immediately took Macho back and he is the same sweet boy that left us over a year ago. Poor little guy was a bit confused, but once he realized he was safe and loved, he settled right in. He is smart and loves to jump high in the air for a squeaky ball. Not a digger or a fence jumper. Very well behaved, likes other dogs as long as they don't try to hurt him. This little guy would love to have a home of his own, probably with kids that would play with him.

Belgian Malinois Dogs can make good pets in Texas if they match your IifestyIe. The Belgian Malinois is a large, dominant, intelligent, protective breed. The Belgian Malinois is usually used as a working guard dog. Malinois make good pets. They need to be with people and get enough attention or they can become destructive. Malinois should be socialized with children and other animals from an early age, and need to be watched around small non-canines. Malinois do best in cooler climates. Belgian Malinois are used to outdoor work, but can live in an apartment if they get plenty of daily exercise.
