Rescue Me ID: 15-04-22-00853Kirin (male)
Hello all...I have a male Belgian needs a home. I have a female Belgian and they get along fine, but she requires a electric wire around my fence to keep her from jumping or going through it and he doesn't do well with this and it makes him incredibly nervous. He spends the whole time worried about the electric and I need it for my dog. He is perfectly fine when not around the electric wire and is good around other dogs. I've only had him around dogs that are similarly sized, not sure about little dogs. He is 3-4 years old, loves water and rolling in the grass. His name is Kirin and I would rather him be adopted by someone who understands the breed and thought by posting this here that someone would want to adopt him or know someone who would. He is a very sweet dog and even loves kids. I don't mind delivering him up to 150 miles of my location (Beaumont TX) I have more pictures, and I promise he has ears, he puts them down every time I click. - Thanks Matt (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 15-04-01-00243Molly (female)
Molly is an adult Belgian Malinois-Shepherd mix. She obviously had a good life, but her owner had to go into a nursing home and Molly was left behind with no one to care for her. We are fostering Molly in a home built kennel, but we have 5 dogs of our own and we can't keep her. She would make an excellent guard dog and a faithful companion. If you can rescue Molly (or foster her), it would be such a BLESSING! She needs a yard for exercise and will keep intruders away. PLEASE HELP MOLLY!

Rescue Me ID: 15-03-23-00577FEATHER (female)
FEATHER was saved fro San Antonio Animal Care Services on 18 March 2015. She was a lot smaller than her picture had portrayed but very sweet. FEATHER was quite shy initially but after spending time with me and the dogs she soon loosened up and started to relax. FEATHER is very agile and can at times be a counter-top-surfer. She can jump up on a high bed and lie down without you even noticing. FEATHER gets on great with the other dogs at the rescue, from the puppies, the wire haired terriers, the mixes and the full grown adult German Shepherds. She is happy to play with any of them, or run around entertaining herself. FEATHER is also very affectionate and given the chance would sleep on the bed every night. She loves to give and of course receive lots of love and affection, she can be gentle and sweet. She does jump up every now and again, although that is more in competition with the other dogs. FEATHER will benefit from an active family that is willing to take their dog to lots of new places, engage her in lots of different things and provide lots of stimulation that will satisfy her both physically and mentally. FEATHER has not been around children, but I feel she would absolutely adore then and provided that they respect her and understand she is not their toy and she too needs her own space, she would be a child/rens best friend for life. FEATHER like all dogs will benefit from some basic and advanced training with his family, this not only helps to strengthen bonds, but allows both human and dog to learn each others personality and body language which is a vital thing in dog ownership. FEATHER is spayed, rabies, core vaccines, de-wormed, heart-worm tested negative and micro-chipped. She has an estimated date of birth of 13 March 2014 and at the time of rescue weighed around 30 pounds. FEATHER is available for adoption through Give a Dog a Home, German Shepherd Dog Rescue for an adoption fee of $170 If you are interested in giving this wonderful, loving girl the perfect forever home that she deserves our application can be found on our website under the application tab. www.giveadogahome-sanantonio.org (Less)

Beautiful sweet girl!!! She is just too much for us to handle. I adopted her from a shelter and have treated her for Kennel cough, phneumonia, and intestinal issues. Have a $400 balance to treat heart works. We are not home during the day and she needs activity. I think she is purebred but can be sure

Georgia has been with us for about a week now. She has been vaccinated and spayed. She is heart worm positive. She seems to be good with other dogs. Good with people. We are uncertain how she is with cats or children. .

We aren't sure who Mom was, but she must have been a healthy girl- she had nine pups who are all bright and happy! Unfortunately Mom didn't stay around for very long, and the pups wound up all alone. Someone called Animal Control and they scooped up the whole crew. They had to be fed soft food and sometimes needed a little help, but with the help of an awesome foster, they're now eating superbly and can start looking for a new home where they can continue to grow! This little pistol doesn't let her siblings push her around! She's always right in the middle and loves to be a part of the pack. Medium sized when full grown, Temperance is going to need a little help from her new family to learn some stuff like house training, crate training, and of course basic manners! Puppy classes are always a good start for young pups once they've gotten their puppy shots, and puppies need all the socialization they can get! Temperance loves other dogs and doesn't even mind the kitties! Take a shot with this little pistol and fill out your application for Temperance today! (Less)

Macho is a 7 month old Belgian Malinios mix. He is probably as large as he will get though. He is smart and loves to jump high in the air for a squeeky ball. Not a digger or a fence jumper. Very well behaved, likes other dogs as long as they don't try to hurt him. This little guy would love to have a home of his own, probably with kids that would play with him.

Belgian Malinois Dogs can make good pets in Texas if they match your IifestyIe. The Belgian Malinois is a large, dominant, intelligent, protective breed. The Belgian Malinois is usually used as a working guard dog. Malinois make good pets. They need to be with people and get enough attention or they can become destructive. Malinois should be socialized with children and other animals from an early age, and need to be watched around small non-canines. Malinois do best in cooler climates. Belgian Malinois are used to outdoor work, but can live in an apartment if they get plenty of daily exercise.
