Beautiful Mia! Mia is a big, 85lb, 3yr old.... well trained, easy going gorgeous girl. And as you can see.... she loves to ride in the car. She loves to explore, going on lots of hikes or meandering walks, maybe play a search game or two... and relax when it's that time. She's very well mannered inside the house and out... and she loves people. She gets along great with most other dogs, both large and small but prefers a home of her own. She can be left alone for a reasonable amount of hours without getting into things that do not belong to her, too. Mia is great with kids but because of her size, children must be over 8rs old. Mia has been trained to an electric fence so she must have at least that or another type of securely fenced backyard. (Less)

|Rescue Me ID: 15-02-11-00690Parker (male)|
Parker is a 14 month old Malinois who is looking for a home with someone who has breed experience. He is living with a male JRT and a female Chihuahua and doing fine. He has lived in a home with a teenage boy and his parents. Parker would benefit from someone who'd be able to do some training with him and put his mind to work. Parker has been an indoor family dog. He is housebroken and like to go on walks. He loves to run around in the woods chasing squirrels. He will need an owner who is willing to put in the time, energy, effort and patience his training will require. Parker should have a fenced yard or some type of containment plan to keep him safe. Mia is a fantastic Belgian Malinois that we took on as an extended foster last year. Her health issues have been addressed, her weight is good (85# all muscle) and she has been properly socialized with a pair of older dogs. Now Mia is looking for a new set of challenges and life experiences with a forever home. She is extremely friendly, very loving and very quick to learn. She needs a physical job to be fulfilled - she has an amazing sense of smell and the ability to dig like an excavator. Mia WANTS to detect every parcel and bag that comes to the house, even appears relieved by doing this. So, S&R seems a likely fit. (We set up a page with photos and links to videos.) http://www.infinitedarknyx.com/mia-girl/ Please contact Tamara, the original foster host, as she is handling the adoption details. Belgian Malinois Dogs can make good pets in Washington if they match your IifestyIe. The Belgian Malinois is a large, dominant, intelligent, protective breed. The Belgian Malinois is usually used as a working guard dog. Malinois make good pets. They need to be with people and get enough attention or they can become destructive. Malinois should be socialized with children and other animals from an early age, and need to be watched around small non-canines. Malinois do best in cooler climates. Belgian Malinois are used to outdoor work, but can live in an apartment if they get plenty of daily exercise.
